What's Urban After Dark?
Urban After Dark is the next evolution of Urban Studios! This isn’t about replacing natural light. It’s about giving you more options to grow, create, and explore new styles. We designed it for those who want to experiment, improve, and get more out of every shoot.
THIS SPACE IS FOR YOU IF:
- You’re confident with natural light but curious about artificial
- You want to control your lighting and your results
- You’re building a business and need pro-level tools
We’re expanding our hours into the evening to give you:
- More flexible availability
- Access to curated styled shootouts
- Hands-on lighting/photo courses
- The ability to add-on a full lighting kit to any studio reservation
- 3 Godox strobe lights
- 2 Barndoor lights
- Multiple modifiers (softboxes, umbrellas, beauty dish, reflectors, gels, and more)

Outside of our Monthly Shootouts & Quarterly Lighting/Photo Courses you have the ability to book us by request and appointment only

Ethan (@eh__fx), our Studio Coordinator will be leading all courses quarterly!
Chase (@atg__gallery) will be our Creative Producer for all shootouts monthly!
Each shootout/course has a limited number of photographers to keep things collaborative and not overcrowded.

It’s not required! However, we suggest educating yourself by taking a course prior to a shootout so you’re more prepared to create what you’re envisioning.
If you have experience with strobes/flashes you should be good!

Nope! We provide all lighting gear, including strobes, modifiers, and continuous lighting options for all shootouts. However, you are more than invited to bring your own gear to a Styled Shootout if you prefer!
We ask that you do not bring your own model or stylist to a shootout because we will have both of those onsite curated for you!
To use your own stylist and/or models please book After Dark 5pm-9pm for
a shoot of your own.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Tickets/Reservations for Urban After Dark are non-refundable, but may be transferable/rescheduled to another date for a small fee of $15 (pending availability).
